Breaking the relationship between self-esteem and achievements

I have always equated my self-esteem with my achievements and success

until I realized how dangerous it was for me.

I was stuck in a vicious cycle. Whenever I achieved something, my self-esteem would inflate. But, when I failed to achieve a goal, my self-esteem would drop.

I did not recognize this pattern and it destroyed my self-esteem and made me feel worthless.

However, it is never too late to recognize this toxic pattern and break it.

I aspire to have healthy self-esteem—a timeless goal that I have set for myself.

May be someday soon, I will finally have a healthy self-esteem.
